July 28, 2008 – The inaugural travel tournament for the Foundation was a rousing success.

Our first fundraiser was held the weekend of July 25-27, 2008.
We had a full weekend of exciting softball action.
Thank you to the countless people who helped make this tournament a great success: donors, vendors, coaches, players, parents, umpires, volunteers, the NSA, West Boynton Lady Bandits, and Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation.
Friday night’s exhibition game was an awesome display of talent. Thank you to the coaches and players who honored Briana’s memory with a great 1-0 duel.
Saturday and Sunday we had 20 teams from as far away as Moore Haven, Homestead, and St. Lucie County. We were blessed with terrific weather the entire weekend and crowned champions in 4 divisions.
